How UNILORIN Calculates Your Aggregate Score

The University of Ilorin uses a combination of your JAMB score, Post-UTME score, and O’Level result to calculate your aggregate score.

The process starts by converting your JAMB score is to a percentage by dividing your score by 400 and multiplying by 100.

For example, if you scored 250 in JAMB, your percentage score would be (250/400) x 100 = 62.5%.

Next, your Post-UTME score is also converted to a percentage by dividing your score by the total score and multiplying by 100.

Your O’Level result is also graded on a points system, with:
  • A1-A6 grades scoring 6 points,
  • B1-B3 scoring 4 points, and
  • C4-C6 scoring 3 points.

The points are then added up to give you a total O’Level point.

Finally, your aggregate score is calculated by adding up your JAMB percentage score, Post-UTME percentage score, and O’Level points.

The formula is:

(JAMB percentage score/2) + (Post-UTME percentage score/2) + O’Level points

The result is your aggregate score, which is UNILORIN uses to determine your admission status.
